I grew up in Sherwood, Arkansas and attended Catholic High School in Little Rock where I truly had the principles of hard work and dedication instilled into me. After high school I attended the University of Central Arkansas to get my bachelors degree in Public Administration. I graduated with honors while double minoring in Communication and Philosophy. During my undergraduate studies I worked for both the Lt. Governor of Arkansas Tim Griffin, as well as the Attorney General of Arkansas, Leslie Rutledge. Through these opportunities I interacted with both state and local legislators as well as law enforcement officials all across the state, and saw first hand how laws were made and implemented to affect everyday Arkansans.
I attended the University of Arkansas William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock and graduated with honors. While in law school I worked for major law firms in Little Rock as well as the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office, and gained experience in many fields of law. I was admitted to practice law in Arkansas in 2020.
I began my legal career as a highly determined family law attorney with Legal Aid of Arkansas, in which I handled complex family law cases including divorces, child custody cases, guardianships, and orders of protection. With my passion for criminal defense I transitioned to practicing soley criminal defense with the Benton County Public Defender’s Office. Everyday I utilize my extensive knowledge and experience from working thousands of criminal cases to shift the seemingly unbalanced criminal justice system, which many times favors the prosecution, into one that levels the playing field and ensures my clients the best possible outcome. I keep my clients up to date on each step in their case and thoroughly explain each option to make sure my clients know exactly what is going on with their case and what the next steps are. Each case is different and having an experienced and knowledgeable attorney that can apply the law to the specific facts of your case is how to get the best result.
Outside of the office I enjoy going on cruises, hunting, and spending time with my family.
