PROFESSIONAL PROFILES
[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]I was born in a small village in Santa Ana, El Salvador, during the country’s civil war. At the age of three, my family and I moved to the U.S. and eventually settled in Springdale, Arkansas when I was six years old. I attended Springdale Public School from first grade through high school, and consider myself one of Springdale’s native sons.
After graduating from Springdale High School in 2006, I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, where I proudly served for six years. My time in the Marine Corps included a deployment to the Al-Anbar Province of Iraq and a three-year special duty assignment with the State Department as an embassy security guard. I also served in Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Brazil, among other countries. As a Marine, I was assigned to President Barack Obama’s security detail in 2011 and received an honorable discharge as a Sergeant in 2012.
Following my enlistment, I moved to New York City, NY, to attend Fordham University where I earned a B.A. in economics. During this time, I was given the opportunity to intern in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and in the U.S. Senate, where my work tended to focus on immigration, national defense, and foreign policy. I also served as an officer in the University’s Veterans’ Association, assisting fellow veterans in their transition from active-duty service to college.
Upon graduating, I moved to Washington, D.C., where I worked in the foreign policy arena before moving back to Northwest Arkansas in 2016 to attend law school at the University of Arkansas School of Law.
During my time in law school, I completed internships with various firms in the area and was a student-attorney and research assistant in the Immigration Clinic. I also served as president of the Hispanic Student Law Association.
I joined the firm in late September of 2019, following my passage of the Missouri Bar Exam and was later admitted to the Arkansas Bar. Outside of the office, I enjoy running the various trails that Northwest Arkansas has to offer, keeping up with the Razorbacks, and volunteering in various ways in my hometown of Springdale.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px”][vc_column_text el_class=”vc_col-sm-6″]BAR/COURT ADMISSION
